Nyt on miniversio syysflunssasta selvitetty. Kuume ei onneksi iskenyt, mutta kurkkukipu sitäkin enemmän useaksi päiväksi. Nyt sitten taas paluu entistä ehompana takaisin arkeen, tänään luvassa kahvittelua ja opiskelua. Jotenkin syksy pääsi taas yllättämään kun lämpötilat yhtäkkiä tipahtivat sinne kymmenen asteen alle. Aion silti vielä urhoollisesti käyttää nahkatakkia niin kauan kuin mahdollista, mutta ehkä kesäkengät vaihdan Converseihin, ei vaadi niin paljolti vesilätäköiden välttelyä. Syksyisissä fiiliksissä ollaan blogissa tänään noin muutenkin, koska taas yksi syksyn lempparilakoistani on päässyt tarkemmin esille. OPIn Viking In A Vinter Vonderland on yksi viime syksyn Nordic -kokoelman cremelakoista.
Jos ottaisin asiakseni koota listauksen syksyn ja talven suosikeistani, olisi tämä luultavasti vähintään kilpailemassa ykkössijasta. Lakka on helppo levittää ja peittääkin nopeasti. Lisäksi se poikkeaa sopivasti täysin mustasta lakasta, joten turhan synkäksi ei meno pääse. Voisin jauhaa ihan liian kauan lakan ihanuudesta, kauneudesta ja tyylikkyydestä, mutta lienee turhaa. Suosittelen siis lämpimästi kaikille!
Ylemmässä kuvassa nämä saman kokoelman lakat on sitten laitettu vierekkäin. Vasemmalla Viking in a Vinter Vonderland ja oikealla Skating On Thin Ice-Land (postaus). Kuten kuvasta selvästi näkyy, Ice-Land on vaaleampi ja ainakin omasta mielestäni taittaa Vikingia enemmän viininpunaiseen. Jos näistä kahdesta pitää valita oma suosikki, se tapahtuu puhtaasti värin perusteella, laadultaan nämä ovat kumpikin samalla viivalla. Viking on kuitenkin tällä hetkellä enemmän oma juttuni, tummuus kun tunnetusti juuri nyt iskee.

Now I have managed to scare my miniversion of flu away. Luckily I didn't get fever, but my throat did hurt even more for several days. Now I'm ready to get back to my everyday life, today I'll meet a friend and do some studying after that. Somehow fall was able to surprise me once again, just all of a sudden the temperature dropped under 10 degrees. I'm still going to be brave and wear my leather coat as long as I can, but maybe I'll change my summershoes to Converse now. They require less avoiding of water. Today the blog is also feeling the arrival of fall, since I have one of my favorite fallpolishes to show you. OPI's Viking In A Vinter Vonderland is one of the creme polishes from last fall's Nordic -collection.
If I decided to make a list of my top polishes of autumn and winter, this one would most definitely be one of the contestants for the first place. This one is easy to polish and covers the nails easily. In addition it isn't too dark and can be seen to be different than black polish, so your overall look doesn't come too dark. I could talk about the great qualities of this nail polish for way too long, but I think I don't have to - I've made my point. I highly recommend this polish for all of you!
In the last picture there are those two polishes from the same collection. The left one is Viking in a Vinter Vonderland and the right one is Skating On Thin Ice-Land (post). As you can clearly see from the photo, Ice-Land is lighter and at least I think it goes more to dark red than Viking does. If I should pick my favorite, it would this time be Viking in a Vinter Vonderland. This pick happens completely based on color since based on the quality these two are the same. Viking is however my personal favorite right now, dark colors just are my thing right now. What do you think about Viking in a Vinter Vonderland? Which one of these polishes is your favorite?
